Hello Everyone

I'm new to Toyota ownership so I relly have nothing of value to add at this point in the way of experience.

I will say though that I'm delighted to have found this forum as it has been a great source of info for someone in my predicament. Being a former Dodge guy I always relate back to my old Ram 1500 when tinkering with my new Tacoma. I have yet to discover anything on the Tacoma that isn't designed, built or finished equal to or better than the Ram.

The reason I started a new thread is to thank everyone that has contributed to this forum. I was amazed when I discovered that pretty much anything that I wanted to change on my truck was covered here and generally came with some pretty handy tips and advice. I can only hope to be able to add to them.

So Again a big Thanks to everyone. You've been a big help

My addition to the required posting thread -- with a cap I can carry a Lane extra large, extra long recliner everywhere I go. Helps to have a comfortable chair in hotel rooms.

I'm an old timer. I was a member (Tweeky) in 2001 when I bought my Tundra. I will own a 2008 Tacoma shortly from the new Eastern Shore Toyota dealer in Daphne AL.

Tried for 6 months to live without a truck and I completely failed

I drove a Lexus LS430 and after one month wanted my old truck back.

I should pick up my Tacoma next week if they can locate a superwhite TRD Sport for me.

Glad to be back, looking to upgrade the stereo system already

Hello everyone. Always wanted to join but had to save for my Tacoma. I finally got want I wanted. 06, blue, ext. cab. auto 4x4 TRD, stock. Best thing I like about this truck has to be the ease of changing the oil and filter. Every car/truck should be sooo easy.

Hey folks I'm a firsdt time Toyota purchaser. The Tacoma interestes me w/ its reliability. I have a DC to carrry the family if needed and I already modified a few items. My first mod was the E locker mod, I extended the rear diff breather to above the frame, URD short throw, I insulated the low pressure A/C line, and now the Trueflow intake. I hope to gather knowledge of other insightful Tacoma owners out there. I am now deciding on a bed cover. My final mod will be mud all over the truck. See ya on the roads or in the forums.

I am Eric from SE NC and I have a 2006 Tacoma access cab and have ha for a little over 2 years. I really appreciate all the posts and information everyone has supplied about the Tacomas on here. I am looking to buy some accessories and goodies for my truck and I find everyones posts and suggestions very informative. I have really enjoyed my truck and I am really glad that I finally found this forum where I can exchange information and get tips and suggestions on how to customize my truck.
