2005 tacoma problems

my tacome keeps popping out of 4th gear is anyone else having this problem?

6-speed? Bad synchro in transmission. Take it to the dealer.

yea its a 6 speed. i took it to the dealer and they said that they could not get it to pop out, i went and drove a tech around and the damn thing wouldnt pop out, so they said they couldnt do anything for me. As soon as i left the dealer it poped out of 4th gear again.and its been doing it ever sense. needless to say im really frustrated with the dealer.

I had the same problem with mine at about 5000km. When I brought it in they just made me an appointment to change the tranny without even testing it. I believe there was a recall on early tacomas for this problem. I got a new tranny and never had another problem.
It was great service no questions asked.
