Question Members in OK???

Just wondering if we've got any regulars that live in OK. I live in Oklahoma City and I'd like to see if there's any interest in a small get-together like the folks in TX, CA...etc.

I'm interested! If you'll let me attend, that is - I drive an '03 Tacoma Double Cab.

P. S. - Couldn't help but notice the image in your sig file - if it helps, my daughter will be attending OU beginning in the fall and I have a football autographed by Derrick Strait.

I'm interested. I'ld like to show off the DVD/Playstation setup with 7' widescreens in the front headrests. My schedule is a little tight, even on weekends but I'll hang out as long as I can.

I just got PMs from members BM and SSparks, but my Inbox was full. Hopefully, they'll want to come as well. It's a little tougher to pick a nice Saturday or Sunday In OK than it is in S Texas or Cali, but I'm thinking late Feb / early March??? That would give the rest of the people I PMed a chance to respond to the idea. Plus, it gives people a chance to coordinate schedules in this hectic world. I'd really like to do it sooner, but if people want to look at everyone else's ride, it'd be better if it's a nice day. Let me know what y'all want and we'll get this thing rolling.

I would be interested in coming. I work two weekends a month so I not sure my schedule would match up. I also have fishing tournaments Feb. 22 and March 8. I might be able to schedule vacation for any other time. I will be looking for more info.
Thanks
Bill

fishinwiz,
Are your tournaments on Sunday, too? And how does March 1 look?

March 1 would be great. It's the Sat. of my seven days off work cycle. I haven't really done anything to my truck except nerf bars and bugscreen but would like to see what is possible to do with it.

I'm interested! My truck is still pretty stock but I'd love to see what everyone else has done to theirs. March 1st and most other weekends will work for me - just let me know what everyone decides.

Just a side note, my best friend also has a Tundra and I bet he would be interested in this event. I didn't know if you were looking to take a head count, but you can probably count us in.

March 1st or 2nd works great for me. (Actually, Sunday the 2nd would be better.) Any thoughts about time and place? I would prefer starting around 11:00 A.M. (to give us out-of-towners time to get to the City). Is this a lunch meet? You know any good restaurants with a good-sized meeting room and a big parking lot? What about the Bricktown area? I've heard that's real nice; haven't got to see it yet.

So far March 1st sounds like it would work best. Good questions, groupset. Bricktown is fun and would have meeting room to accommodate us, but parking is a b!+ch...ahem, problem. I need some of the OKC members (or people familiar with OKC) to chime in with their suggestions. I live and work on the North side, so I'm more familiar with it. Maybe up by Quail Springs Mall on restaurant row off Memorial. It's got choice of chow, shopping for out-of-towners, easy access from Tulsa??? Not as pretty as Bricktown, maybe we could caravan down later in the afternoon if there's interest? Tell me what y'all think. I'm already looking forward to it!

Just a though, but we could all meet somewhere around Lake Hefner. I'm coming from Sand Springs so it doesn't really matter to me but for the folks in OKC that's pretty central. On the South side of the lake is Stars & Strips park that has a lot of paved row parking. Another suggestion is the Dolesee park that's off of NW Expressway but I'm not 100% where. I was just thinking that area since NW Expressway is packed with places to eat and most people know the area well.
