Anybody know of a reputable tint shop in the North houston/spring/Woodlands area? I used snaptint on my Tundra, but I want to get my mom a pro-level install for Christmas on her TL. I can deal with my own little imperfections, but mom gets the best always
Xtreme Window Tinting at 6700 Louetta. He's been in business for 6 or 7 years now and does good work. He'll tinted the front windows on a buddy of mine's truck for $80 with a lifetime warranty.

hello all there is a place that does window tint called solar shade. Its on 1960 like you are going to kingwood. They have done all 3 of my trucks. I think that they are the best around. They are do limo tint, I would not let anybody touch my truck but them, they also have a life time warranty of everything they do.
This answer is for tundra786 yes you can go darker than the fac. You can have limo tint on your back window and on your back side windows to. you can go darker on the driver, pass side to dont know the % of shade though. you can't have tint on your windshield it is illegal and cops can inpound your truck. it happen to my best friend. I hope this helps
You can google search tint laws by state. In texas, you can spraypaint your back window black if you want but the front windows have to have 25% light transmission last time I checked. The peoblem is most tint manufacturers go from 20% to 35% with nothing in between. I just put 20% on my front windows and haven't had a cop give me a second look yet
Memorial Alarm and Tint does a great job too. He is a one man operation. Used to be my neighbor and tinted our Scion XA two years ago. Sill looks great...

I'm not in your area but I'm shure it applies there too. When I got the front windows tinted on my truck, I was suprised how fast they had the films cut. I found out later that they are computer cut. Look for either the 3M or Llumar brand films, the better shops use those films.
I had Llumar Centaur on my old truck for 13 years, no bubbles or fading in that time. I also know people that have had 3M with good results. I had Formula One installed on my truck this time. It was a good match to the rear windows.
The computer cut tint rocks. I ordered the tint for my Tundra from Snaptint.com. It comes precut and is a perfect fit. This is the second vehicle I have used snaptint on and they both came out great. Not sure what tint they use, but it is definitely high quality.
The only thing was that I had nowhere to do it but the parking lot at my apartment so things like airborne dust and trash were a bit of a problem. I don't mind so much, but I know a pro can do a better job.
I tried to apply SNAPTINT.COM 's product SNAPTINT to my wifes Honda Civic. It is a terrible product. It kept rolling up on itself, no matter how wet i got it, which lead to creases in the final application. It also requires a heat gun which they do not tell you until you get the product. The install is much more complicated than they show online. Taking the rubber seal off is not a problem but replacing is a PIA. Do yourself a favor and pay 100$ to get it done professionally by people who know what they are doing. You can spend all day trying to get this product to work and it will still look bad. It only will cost about 50 -60 dollars more do have a pro do it. I usually love DIY's but this stuff just doesnt work. Oh yeah... when you call they say the voicemail isnt working and to email them... then they dont email you back...
