Texas is running out of 6 character combinations for license plates. Effective January of 2009 they will move to 7 characters.

Argh. Looks like the Lone Star Texas will win by a large margin. I was hoping for the Traditional Texas plate. I hate license plates that look like murals. I just want a plain plate with digits, not a friggin mural.

I am with you, I voted for Traditional Texas also but it looks like it is not going to make it.

Traditional looks nice. The uglies plate did win.
