Ok Gang, let me start out and say we had OVER 64 people that attended the Tejas Toyota BBQ Meet and a 'guestament ' of OVER 25 Trucks, it was difficult to count. So we can strike this up as yet another successful event that was sponsored by Tejas Toyota for the Texas Tundras!
Talk about rides.....we had 'em. From Tundras, Tacoma and even a Harley!
We had men, women and children from the north, south, east and west ends of Texas. We even had 2 dogs.
We had BBQ, side dishes, drinks, trophy contests, prize drawings, goodie bags, discounts on parts & accessories, awesome rides, great weather and of couse Texas BSers!
At this moment, I can actually say I am totally BSed out....
I will post a more informative detail of the event that took place at this meet. Kat and I actually are winding-down a bit, waiting to here from our long distance Texas Tundra Riders to report in.
Sure was fun joining your meet from Tom's Farms!! And thanks, Possum, for gettin' our young Houston transplant off to a great start in married life...'least we hope he made the 2-hour drive back in time for his 6 pm wedding!!!! Tomorrow TMS2U heads out to Hawaii with his Dearly Beloved on the same mission!!
Hope ya'all had a blast at Tejas and came away with lotsa new items to install!!!
Fun gettin' together on the same day!!!!

And thanks to Mr EZ2BME for reporting in that all had a safe return to homebase.
It was good food and good time visiting with everyone and meeting some new TS people. I do enjoy BS'n and seeing the fancy gadgets that everyone has. I always come home thinking NOW what can I add or change.
It seems the meets get bigger and better thanks to the people that promote the the event . Possum and Ms. Possum always working on that.
Any way I'm looking forward tothe next time we can get together again.
Got home early, about 5:30. "To pooped to particapite". Had a great time. Thanks ---Tejas and Floyd for the hospitality. Floyd ---those 2 boys are as cute as a bug. ----"uncle" Buzzard
Well, Kat and I are still recuperating from our great day we had at the Tejas Toyota BBQ Meet. I will of course make an appropriate thread to the MANY thanks and acknowledgments that need to be addressed.
But to begin.....
First a BIG TEXAS SIZE thank you the the great people at Tejas Toyota and to the persons that had put so much into getting these off the ground, the owner, management, staff and our own Texas Tundras Riders, Floyd (iforce=horses) and Kim.
Thanks to John (EZ2BME) for going that extra mile last night posting those great photos for us to reflect on today.
To all of you that traveled the miles to attend this meet! You know at times I literally get floored. I think I had seen it all and someone has something different on their truck that the entire Gang gets interested in. I can now say, those that participated in the Trophy Awards Contest....the votes were TIGHT!
To our trophy winners:
Tundraholic (Ron) for Most Mods
TundraCHILD (Cleve) for Best Detailed
Hover (Mike) for Best Sound System
Tommie (ltw9r) for Highest Mileage
Yes, it was EXTREMELY difficult in the judging of these trucks. A "special" thanks to Mark (malekoman) that helped explained what should be looked at when judging. And as Joe (SATundra) had announced, we still have a lot to learn in this area. Like all of our meets as we have them, this new Trophy Awards Contest will get bigger and better.
This is just a little "kick start" of the many things that I will address when I get my wind back in my sails.
Thanks to ALL of you that attended yesterday's meet that truly made it a success. If it were not for every single one of you that were there at these meets, they would not be as special and fun as they are.
