Howdy DFW Area Gang!

We really had a great time at the Arlington TGI Friday's Meet! Wished the weather had faired better for us so we could have checked our our rides better and done a lot more BS'n. But we really enjoyed seeing some of our familiar friends that come to these meets as well as meeting some new ones.

There were some beautiful rides at this meet and super great people! The meeting area was fantastic with the Ball Park located to see the field. We even got to catch part of a softball game!

We got a few pictures that I hope to have posted soon. We would have taken more, but that cool breeze and drizzle was a bit much for all of us.

We are still in hopes that all of our DFW area friends will consider coming to our neck of the woods at the Frank's Meet on April 26th.

Thanks to all of you that attended and showed us your hospitality at the Arlington TGI Friday's Meet.

"Thanks Guys" for great time we had today. I really did enjoy seeing the DFW Tundra bunch again. I have to commened the out of towners that made the long haul from point to the south.

The weather rolled in about the time we sat down for lunch, but it was high and dry for all the BS inside the Ballpark bldg.

Robert and Melisa should of stayed just a little longer, Melisa won the fine looking TS hat in our drawing. Dave took the Hat and will get it to you at first chance.

I have to give the " one tough cookie " award to Jennifer ( Ms. Superman )She carried a set of 6 month old twins and a 2 year old to our meet and she didn't miss a beat. But I will admit Wade did help and the kids were really good. Still, I would not of tried it.

There were new trucks to look at and new people to meet with ,new interest to talk about. I think we would of BS 'ed alittle longer had it not been raining after the lunch. I saw 2 or 3 people with cameras so I hope some one will be able to post the photos soon.

'Hope everyone got home OK also.

Any way, I enjoyed it gang!

We are back in Houston, I drove home.

Danny's truck only goes 105 mph

I really enjoyed the meet and wished we would have gotten there sooner for the BSing or at least the rain could have stopped for a BSing after. Ms. Superman(jennifer) is a trooper and handles the kids great(I dont so bad myself but Jenn is the rock of our family and I think I would go nuts without her) Nice seeing some new faces and hop to see yall at Franks

It was only our (Martha and I) 2nd meet but again was great to see everyone and get to meet new faces to go with their TS name. Dave, the sight was a great place. Of course we love going out to the Ballpark in Arlington (still a weird name for stadium, ehh?). Although the weather didnt cooperate, it allowed us to visit inside TGI Fridays. Ron, thanks for offering your relay...wish it would have worked out, but I'll get with NHParrot and see whats up with the '03 relay.

All,

Melissa and I enjoyed seeing everyone again and meeting some for the first time. Now I can associate the user handle with the face!

We would have liked to have stayed longer, but unfortunately getting married and now looking for a house has our weekends stretched to the max since we either taking care of post wedding duties or looking for a house. Maybe if I'm lucky we'll be moved into a house by the time the next D/FW meet takes place....

Anyway, it was good to shake hands with everyone again and since the meet was only 2 miles from my apartment, I couldn't imagine not stopping by to at least say "Howdy".

Hey guys wished I could have made it. Unfortunately I had to work. I was already to go until I look at the calender. Maybe I will
get lucky and catch a DFW area meet on my weekend off.

THANKS !!!! to all that made it to the DFW meet, it was a good time, i wish the weather would have held off a little longer ,but it was a good meet anyways... thanks to everyone who donated door prizes too... i hope everyone who drove in from out of town made it home safe..and those in town too...

TexasSR5, your wife won a door prize,{baseball cap} i have it in my truck, i'll give it to you at the next meet, or i can send it to you...let me know...

I made a photo category to upload any photos that were taken at the TGI Friday's Meet. I will be adding some soon, but gotta do it the ol' fashion way and get them developed.
