Where was it? Do you remember how much per hour you made? How long did you work there?
For me:
Dairy Queen (1975) (statewide chain of burger joints)
$1.15 an hour I think.
stayed there 6 months
then went to work at a "flying club" pumping gas into private planes

Entrepreneur at age 11 - 3 paper routes (1 am & 2 pm); seasonal lawn mowing, leaf raking, snow shovelling, and grocery delivery... no rest for the wicked ;-)
First "real" job was house keeping (janitor) in a hospital at age 15. Learned a lot about life as I cleaned delivery rooms, operating rooms, and the morgue...
Other than mowing lawns and selling seeds door to door as a young whipper snapper. My first 'official' paycheck was when I was 11 years old selling popcorn and peanuts at the Astrodome. Then they fired me because of Child Labor Laws...
Wish like hell the government would step in now and say, "Hey bud, you are too damn old to be working in this hell hole."
Again, no such luck....

Ahhhh--I was 15 working for a detail shop in Federal Way,WA. I made $6.00 per car and $12.00 for the big trucks--it was under the table so I kept every penny of it.
Tying the string with the little gold safety pin on Chameleons necks for the Fair goers. The idea was you pinned the poor little lizard on your shirt/ blouse, and he/she would change color to match your garment. No PETA back then. Don't recall the pay scale, maybe 25-cents per dozen ... 25-cents would buy you a 12 oz. RC Cola, a big 3-Musketeers candy bar, and a Camel bicycle tube patch kit, and you got 2-cents back on the bottle, good for two Double-Bubble gums.
Worked on the beach starting when I was 12 years old. Did everything from taking money for parking, to directing traffic to setting up beach umbrellas.
First "official" job was at an uncle's animal clinic. I answered phones, cashiered, cleaned poo, cleaned pee,did lab tests with poo and pee (no wonder I didn't want to be a veterinarian ),and aided with surgeries. He paid me around $4 and hour.
