I played at Cedar Creek (http://www.sagolf.com/Courses/CedarC...edar_creek.htm) a few weeks ago and it was very very nice. Cost was only $31 which was an excellent price for that type of course. Fairways were in great shape, but the greens were kinda of bumpy.

That city coarse used to be rated real high nationally for a city coarse. You are right there greens have NEVER been in very good shape though. If you get the chance play at Silver Horn another city coarse. That coarse is nice, well manacured, trees and everything are allways green and well kept. My favorite coarse is Tapatio Springs . If you play there MAKE SURE you play "The Ridge", you will not forget it. Unbeliveable coarse and scenery.

My oldest son plays golf & has sence he was 2... Loves the game, short game needs wk, but can hit the long ball.. Let me know about the golf it is always nice to see a 9 year old beat an adult. Ha Ha????
I started playing golf when I was 13. You would think the longer a fellow does something the better he would get. Not so. I reached the top of my game in about 5 years and never got much better. When i retired I had good intentions of playing lots of golf, even got a membership at the local club. I saw right away that the golf got in the way of my fishing and did not renew my membership. Still play in some tournaments, mostly with my son in laws but dont play on a regular basis. Besides it has got pretty expensive to play. Still like to play but like they say --my handicap is my game. ---Buzz
