Good to see 'ya!!....
Yeah...I like p@ul's suggestion of checking out the truck show in New Braunfels. I don't see any reason why I couldn't make that. If the weather holds up, it would be a great opportunity to get some great pics. Sports Illustrated was here during the wknd, but I missed out because it rained cats and dogs on them Sunday...Toyota had a display there with the NASCAR Tundra on display.
I still want to meet with the SA guys here in town next Saturday, though, for a quick lunch and a little bs'n.
I've had DORBA and bikemojo bookmarked, but never visited the websites again (although they're both great!) after TundraDave (I think) pointed me to both of them right before the last Dallas Meet that I was unable to make.
I was at McAllister yesterday, but all the paths were still damp and numerous low-water crossings (about 1-2' deep). I rode on anyway for a couple of hours until I had a flat and it started pouring on me. It got spooky real quick because the temp dropped about 10 degrees and got real windy and kinda dark while I was in a deep woodsy, isolated part of the park. I hauled azz to get out of there before I got into trouble. I came out of there soaked in mud and water. My beautiful leather seats were stained in all that grimy mud. I had hell getting 'em clean, once I got home. I had to take my bike to the carwash to wash all the mud that was caked all over. Had lots of fun though!!
I might be able to make it. We just bought a set of french doors that I need to install. I have NO doubt my wife thinks im gonna install them THIS weekend. But I havent told her that is for some other time since we have a meet this Saturday.
