Add my thanks to Floyd, the people at Tejas and everyone else that had a part in putting on the meet. Didnt count the trucks or the people but we put a BIG hole in the BBQ. Everything went great and the weather was great. ---Buzzard
A great day it was at that....we were all so busy BSing, enjoying our company with one another, drooling over the rides, the BBQ, shopping, door prizes and drinks....I honestly lost count of how many rides we had there!
It was great to finally meet you in person Don (Buzzard)!
As always there never seems like enough time for us to spend with the SA Gang (SATundra, EZ2BME, & Hover) that have continued to keep these events rolling! (Thank you for the dinner John!)
I also must add Ron (tundraholic) with this group as well, he has always been there to show us something new he has done to his Tundra at every meet!
David (tundragon), it sure was great to see you as always. We will catch up on some BS over pizza!
Leland (lelandstanford) always there to give us some insight to think about doing to our ride.
Cleve (TundraCHILD), and Floyd (fluuid)....WOW those 4X4's really stood out!
Oh me oh my....Mark (Sanchez) what a beautiful Sequoia we got to run our hands across. This was a sweet treat to our meet!
Let us not forget our wonderful TS.com wives...you ladies are fantastic to put up with us!
To our new comers and guests, it was a pleasure meeting all of you and hope to see you at future meets.
Floyd (iforces=horses), my man...a special thank you for getting the ball rolling on this event, you are a true asset to Tejas Toyota!
The staff that makes up the Tejas Toyota Team really went the extra mile in sponsoring this meet to the Texas Tundras...on behalf of the Texas Tundras....Thank you for a special day!
I will compose a proper "Thank You" when I catch my breath and recoup from Kathy dragging me around afterwards looking for business cards.
BTW Gang....afterwards SATundra, EZ2BEME, Hover, iforce=horses and myself convoyed over to Papa's for dinner. As we were driving in our little convoy we were getting the "high five" from other drivers on the feeder road.
A mustang that reved up his engine kinda backed off after hearing Floyd's and John's Tundras...
These Tundras roared....Don't Mess With Me... I Have An Attitude! Needless to say, he backed off!
Seeing those pretty Tundras did turn some heads!
JUST THINK WHAT OUR CONVOY WILL LOOK LIKE AT THE LSB!!!!
I sure had a good time today at the BBQ. Good food and fun folks to visit with.
I think there was more than 15 pounds of Jalapeno peppers in that tray I carried. I bet there were some left. Man so much food.
I couldnt believe it when THOSE PEOPLE wanted to buy Cleve's truck. I'm surprised he didnt let them test drive it!!!! They knew a hot truck when they saw it. Can you say off road , lift Kit , 10 inch wide wheels, and performance.
The people had walked around the lot and when they came to his truck they said "this is it" !!!! Cleve was thinking " walk home?? " but he never let them take it for a spin.
Hey everyone! Glad to hear everything went well. Wish I had made it. I was in Houston and went to the auto show. I didn't completely miss out though. Turned out that I was leaving the same time as the rest of the SA crew, so I met up with them for the ride home. Joe, thanks for taking the lead and keeping us out of trouble.
