This is a discussion thread titled "Exhaust shop - Weatherford", within the Texas forum, part of the News and Events category.
Figure I would post this in the Texas forum in case anyone locally was needing to have their headers installed.
I almost purchased the JBA's in the recent G/B but made a very reasonable deal with a member selling his new/uninstalled set. I had planned installing them as a father/son project this upcoming weekend when my son couldn't get off work.... So, I visited a very reputable muffler shop here in town yesterday to see how much $$$ for them to do the job. To my surprise, $120!
Said they had started doing more Tundra's and wasn't really a problem. He put 2 guys on it and had it completed in 3 hours. Would have been finished in 2 hours but he had to pull 1 guy off for another job.
I had always heard that the business was first class and all I have ever had them do before was just a muffler replacement. The JBA's look fantastic and no doubt they did a very clean install. They told me how to retorque the nuts or just drop back by and they would do it.
Any of you folks in the area that decide to do the JBA's, I would highly recommend "Chris' Muffler" on Ft. Worth Highway here in Weatherford. Lord knows that it was the best $120 I have ever spent knowing that it would have taken my son and I atleast 5-6 hours. We've decided to do a speaker/Dynamat upgrade together instead.
That was a great deal and it saved the two of you some hide and blood. Enjoy the JBA's.

If a combo of all these whizz bangs met their claims you'd have to syphon gas out of your tank every second day and sell the excess horsepower on the third????
I have a 04 double cab and was wondering about headers. Where did you get them and how much did they cost you? I live very close to the shop that you mentioned.
