San Antonio and Surrounding Flooding Area Residents- Please Report In!
Howdy San Antonio and Surrounding Areas Residents,
As reported on the local news last night and this morning here in Houston, we are concerned about all of you located in San Antonio and Surrounding Areas due to the severe flash flooding.
We have several of our fellow Texas Tundras Members that are located in the region that we are getting reports on. If possible please pop a post and let us know if you and your families are okay.
Well it rained 9.25 inches yesterday and we have already had another 4 inches "so far" today. It hasn't been this bad here since the flood of '98. Seems like San Antonio has caught the brunt of this one. Hope you guys are staying dry out there.

I'm still here....although i was about 3 minutes away from that "wall of water" that came through on I-10....good thing they cancelled my final exam when they did or i'd be stuck on the highway.
Here's some video captures I got off the news today...
I'm new to the crowd... well, I've been a tundra owner for two years... and posted here when I first got my truck, but took a one year hiatus since I moved down to Texas (last year)... now I'm back.
I'm logging on today to get advice on what my wife did to my truck.. she took it through a big 'ol puddle in Shertz and now it stalls when in drive at low rpm's.... I don't know if it's just a temp water damage thing... or if it's serious. Any advice would be appreciated.
I'm still here. Actually, I am in Corpus working right now. Heading home to SA tomorrow. Hopefully the water will recede and let me through when I get home. Wish me luck.
Thanks, Dan for thinking of your amigos down the road here in S.A.
Actually, it hasn't been THAT bad as far as flooding in my neighborhood, even though I live in an older area close to downtown.
Our water source, the Edwards Aquifer, was already approaching the "trigger point" which would've meant that $&#@ restricted watering, starting tomorrow. All hell broke loose with the heavy rains yesterday, so we're in good shape now since the water level in the Aquifer is rising again and there won't be any watering restrictions.
I sure hope the fireball breaks out for July 4th, as this rain really sucks. I'm looking forward to cutting grass and enjoying the sunshine!!!

I also made a video of the footage from the 3rd image that you can download HERE. It's a 14mb mpeg1 file.

Hover do you have any new figures from and including today totals? It rained ALLLLLLLL day today as well. In fact it is still raining as I'm typing now. They are forecasting more of the same for tomorrow as well. (I remember hearing something about 40 days and 40 nights ).

BTW... I'm Eddie and I'm in San Antonio.
Hi Eddie,
Welcome back! Great to see another Texan join in.
Can you do me a fave, and post that question regarding the stall problem in the Main Forum "Tundra Solutions". There are many Members that will gladly give you an answer and most likely the fix for that problem.
We hope you will join us in our meets that we plan usually monthly. We always enjoy welcoming a new member to the Texas Tundras.
Thanks! I actually posted on the main forum before I posted here. I got a couple replies, and I think I've found some things I can try based on comments and internet searching.
Elcid73.....great! I saw that in the Main. Hope you get to join us at our July 20th Meet. Please read that "Sticky Thread", if you can join us please pop a post. We are also in the works of planning a Fish Fry as well at Jones Creek in August.
TX_hunter....if you by chance jump online please pop a post so we know all is well.
Hover my man...no worries I know ya passed with flying colors!

Anyway, it's great to meet some TX Tundra owners.
Hey Elcid73 welcome to TS. This is a great site to find out about anything you could want to know about your Tundra. Sorry I can't really suggest any fixes for your problem though. Maybe reset the computer is all.
We will try to give you a shout the next time we have a local meet here in SA.
