Default South Texas Rain

Say EZ SATundra and Hover,

When you get tired of the rain you could send it to the western states to help with the forest fires.

When will it stop raining ?

You can have it!! Bring your scuba-diving gear and have fun at all the low water crossings. I've got a big branch in the front yard that got zapped by lightning a couple of nights ago. Traffic was in gridlock after work yesterday....today wasn't too bad, as employers let people go home early. IH10 closed west of the city because the hwy is underwater. It's SUPPOSED to start clearing up tomorrow.....check out the doppler images here:

Rain, rain, go away!!!!

I've had enough rain for a while now. Wish we could ship some of this stuff over to Colorado and Arizona.

It seems like every year now that they announce "today we are starting water restrictions" that within 24 hours it will rain for a couple of days. This year was no exception. I think our aquifer has come up over 13 feet in just the past 2 days. Heck I think they are even gonna cancel the Fourth of July celebrations here until Saturday.

Hope the rest of you are staying dry.

Can you ship just a little bit of that rain here to Central VA. Just make sure is comes only in the late evening or at night. Our rainfall is down about 9 or 10 inches for the year. I don't think we ever recovered fully from the drought of '98. Lots of folks are having to get new (read deeper) wells dug. The well drilling industry here is booming.

Maybe I just need to wash my truck. That usually brings the rain.

No problem here, we've had more than our fair share now. Ok winds blow towards the east now.

BTW before last Saturday we were more than 9 inches behind our normal rainfall as well. TODAY (4 days later) I think we are 4 inches OVER normal. Like they say here, "when it rains it pours". Also washing your truck DOES help.

You got it...when it rains it pours (especially in Texas). We just can't seem be do anything "little" in the State of Texas.

H N...heard MORE rain is expected in SA.

Stay safe and dry,
Dan
