Hey "carlwagg" welcome to Texas Tundra Country. Please feel free to drop in and post anytime. Sounds like you are well on your way to becoming a "mod-a-holic". Enjoy your truck, its a good one.
Hopefully we will have a "Meet" in Austin before to long. Were overdue there.

I had forgotten that I posted here, sorry to snub the crowd...
Thanks for the welcome, I have been quite busy reading a lot of stuff on the boards here. I actually do not have a Tundra yet, but it's been decided that, god willing and the creek don't rise, it's what I'm going to own shortly...I just have to get my current car sold and get some other paperwork done. Sometime in the first week or two of September I'll be driving one home.
This site is a bit addictive. I've already decided on several mods to do, the hard part has been deciding what to do first (besides deciding between a cheaper '02 or a new '03 Tundra). So far the list includes a complete audio system upgrade, suspension lift and sway bar, nerf bars and window vent shields, new tires, maybe better brakes....and that's just from what I've learned in the past week I don't even want to consider some of the more expensive and advanced mods I've learned about...the stuff listed int he Garage is just too tempting...I fear the truck may end up 7 feet off the ground and outpulling everything in sight by the time you people get done with me....
But mainly this post is just to say Howdy again, and to say that this site rox...more useful info and nice people than I've ever run across in my long residence on the 'net
Oh, and yes, an Austin meet would be nice, but please pay attention to the football schedules...I don't miss A&M games, and none of my Longhorn friends miss their games either....
We always enjoy welcoming another Texan onboard. We have a great group of Texans on this site and hope you will consider joining in our Texas Tundras Meets.
If you need any asistance please feel free to PM me. Or post your questions so that The Gang or I may help you with.
Once again, welcome to Texas Tundra Country! We will be looking forward to your postings.

BTW... nice to see you pop in and post X-0! Hopefully as the weather cools down we will get some meets going soon.
We always enjoy welcoming another TS Member to Texas. Eventho, you are located in Shreveport, La. we hope you'd consider joining in our Texas Tundras Meets and BS sessions here on TS.com

BTW...there has been talk of us having a Texas Meet in Louisiana. So stay tuned....
Shreveport should have Honorary Texas Status since a lot of Texans leave their money at the casinoes there ...or import casino winnings into the state.... I've brought my fair share in.
I agree X-O! Me and the wife go there as well and play in the casinoes.
Plus, there are some really good people there in our neighboring State of Louisiana.
Yeah the casinos bring in mostly people from DFW. If you walk through the paking lots i bet 7 out of 10 plates are from Texas. Luckily, I am ahead in terms of win/loss ratio. If a group is interested in going to the casino there are group discounts. If you call ahead and tell them the "Texas Tundra Club" wants to stay, you can get reduced rates.
kinda new to TS, and was wondering how to find out where and when the meets in tx are. i like in the houston area and would love to check out other poeople mods and get some advice!!!
kship welcome to TS and to Texas Tundra Country. When the weather cools down just a little bit more we will start having some more meets. Theres a lot of people that are getting that "meet" itch. The next one should be in Houston as well. Just check back in here and we will post when the next one will be scheduled. Anyone is welcome at the meets, Tundra or not and we try to make them family events as well. If you are wanting to check out some mods, thats the place to do it. You can see them first hand and ask the owner questions as well. There are quite a few people out there that come to these meets that don't post alot and don't have there mods listed either. Some of the trucks will just take your breath away. BTW there is NO requirement that you have ANY mods to your truck. It's just a bunch of us that get together to talk truck and BS.
Looking forward to meeting you.

thanks for all the info. i'm really looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing people that are into the same things as i am (that of course being my truck) hope to see ya'll soon.
We always enjoy welcoming another Texan onboard. When we have a meet please consider joining in. There are many Texans that attend these meets that can offer a wealth of information, as well as checking out our rides.
We just had a Houston Meet in July (check out the pics in the Photo Gallery). We did have plans for another one in Jones Creek, but the weather was just way too hot to have our BS sessions and check out our rides. Please pop in, as we never know when one will be suggested.
I also keep our meets updated on the TS Calendar for easy reference.
Once again, welcome to Texas Tundra Country! We will be looking forward to your postings.
Heya guys and gals. I am a new member here at Tundra solutions and looking to get a Tundra in the next month or two. Just got in a wreck with my car and its totaled so its now time for the truck I was going to get in 5 months when my lease ran out. I'm here in the Lubbock area, about to finish college at Tech and looking forward to getting in the real world and start working.
