We always enjoy welcoming another Texan onboard. Sorry to hear about your misfortune, but on a positive note, you did not suffered any severe injuries.
When we have a meet please consider joining in (no Tundra required). There are many Texans that attend these meets that can offer a wealth of information, as well as checking out our rides.
Once again, welcome to Texas Tundra Country! We will be looking forward to your postings.
I have a 2000 Access Cab Limited purchased in May 2000. I live in Richardson, TX.
I just got back from a 2-week trip to Colorado. My wife likes the Tundra for traveling better than my car. It's quiet and comfortable, seats are up high and has the 6 CD changer. I drove in the mountains up to 12,000 feet with ease. I averaged 19 mpg.
We have a 2000 Limited Access 4x4 with TRD. Like your wife, mine prefers the Tundra over her Camry too. With lots more luggage space :-)
We "upgraded" from a 98 Taco 4x4 and I'll never go back. Well I shouldn't say never, but we love this thing. Our mountains in Western NC don't get as high as Colorado but we still enjoy the offroading opportunities and "gittin' dirty."
This truck has almost 100K miles and still runs and looks great. Hope you have the same luck with yours.
I'm new here, but my Tundra is a 2000 silver SR5 with a 3" body lift, and a 3" suspension lift, and rolls on 33" ProComp XTerrains and Eagle Alloy 16" rims. its pretty sweet....

Welcome aboard. There is one other truck setup like yours in Houston that I know of that is a member here as well. I am sure he will be going to the Franks Pizza Meet we have set up for November 9th there in Houston. His truck is usually one of the stars of the meet. You guys should get together there and talk about your trucks. See the thread titled "Franks Pizza Meet" here in the Texas Forum for more information, we would sure like to check out your truck. Hope you can make it. Please feel free to look around and ask any questions you may have.

I've been a member of the TS for a couple of months now and just found you guys here. I bought a 2000 SR5 access-cab 4X4 V-8 TRD Tundra(Thunder Grey) from Permian Toyota in Hobbs, NM. The people here (Gene Messer Toyota) think there cars/trucks are made of gold and whatever you are driving is a peice of SH**. I will never deal with them again.
Our welcome mat is always there to greet anyone onboard. I hope you'll join in the fun we have here in Texas Tunda Country.
We have a really great group of Texans here. Just read through the many postings and check out the photo gallery.
We would also like to extend a welcome to you to our meets. Presently we have two going on, the Houston Meet and the DWF Meet. Hopefully you'll be able to attend one or even better yet, both!
Glad you found us, we will be looking forward to your postings!
New Texas Tundra owner! Now i have the bug of MOding everything, but for some reason, all the parts and labor are not free? Hmmmm....I guess I need to break out the old wallet.
We always enjoy welcoming another Texan onboard. We have a great group of Texans on this site and hope you will consider joining in our meets that The Texas Tundras usually have planned monthly.
I would also like to bring to your attention that Tejas Toyota does give the Texas Tundras a 25% discount on any Toyota parts or accessories, be sure to check them out.
Once again, welcome to Texas Tundra Country! We will be looking forward to your postings.

First joined the forum two years ago when Theo was just a baby and all innocently stock. Well, I forgot my user ID name and password and have rejoined under a new alias. Two years later, big T has a little more dents and scratches but along with age inevitably comes height. He's sittin' around three inches higher now thanks to the REVTEK lift and new tires.
my name is wes and i got my '03 tundra for christmas/graduation from my parents. i will graduate in may of '03. it is a 2wd access cab with the v-8, and it will soon get a 2.5/1 inch lift, and some bigger tires and upgraded wheels, let me know if you guys go wheelin as a group and i may join
