I hope New Orleans made the list because it has my vote for the #1 city.

I don't understand -- what is this "sweat" stuff? I hear it happens during "hot" weather, but I don't understand that either. The high for today was about 66 degrees, and it's only 61 degrees right now.
WOW with Houston's humidity I cannot believe it wasn't listed above San Antonio, Texas.
When the Houstonians were in San Antonio for the LSB, we were dying with our mouths being so dry, as the humidity is much lower there.
Living here in Houston you get the daily required amount of water intake just by breathing.
To answer your question on deodorant, whatever is on sale and smells good. We go through a lot of it here because we have to apply it several times a day, especially if you spend much time outdoors.

I think I'm beginning to understand. Yesterday, we poured a concrete floor for a new addition to the house. I worked outside until about 2:00 PM wearing denim jeans and shirt, hat, and boots. When it started raining, I got a little bit wet. Is that what sweat is like?
While sitting in traffic, my thermometer was reading 113 degrees...but thank goodness, cooled to a very pleasant 100 after I got rolling again...and we haven't hit the hottest part of the year

No argument here.....Dan's right. Houston's got to be the most hot and humid city in Texas.
SA's not that bad.....we're usually in the 90's with high humdity early in the day and tapering off toward the evening.
Right now....at 8PM it's 89 degress with 52% humidity. Humidity in the a.m. usually runs in the high 80s.
TMS2U.....RightGuard Extreme Sport Power Stripe...$2 at Target
works great in our heat/humidity.
You Texans must have cheated to be listed above New Orleans.Heck,we go to Houston and San Antonio in the summer just to cool off!Just kidding,Texas is a great state-takes forever to drive thru though.
For an absolutely horrible summer climate,I would vote for Phoenix hands down!Don't believe that "it's not the heat,it is the humidity".When it is 115 degrees, and the sun is broiling you from above, and the roads and buildings are cooking you from all sides,it is the heat!Your sweat does evaporate, but it is hell on earth.Las Vegas is a very close second. The best thing I saw one summer in Las Vegas, was Las Vegas in my rear view mirror.(fun city though) Charlie New Orleans
