Well you are headed in the right direction by starting a thread. See if you get any interest then set a location and time.

We have several Dallas/FW Texas Tundra Riders that I'm sure would like to attend a meet, now that the weather is in our favor.

If you get it going, I'll be more than happy to assist you with the thread.

I'd certainly make room for another DFW meet on my schedule. The last one was almost exactly two years ago if I remember correctly and I had a good time.

I would love too if we can get a few more... I figure if we can around 10 Tundras there it would be great.

I have an older model Tundra that is getting ready to turn 6years old in June, sure would like to give her a birthday soon.

Howdy Guys & Gals!

Trying to help y'all with getting a meet going. Since the regional forums have been somewhat tucked away, many of our Texas Riders do not check the forum out like they use to.

I have gathered a few threads that may be of some help by addressing some of our DFW Riders to the attention of a possible meet.

You can then start to PM or email members that may be of interest. I then can add it to the TS Calendar as I did for the upcoming meet in Denver CO.

Here are a couple of threads:

Hey guys I know its short notice but I will be going anyway to the Fort Worth Main street arts Festival...

Its going on from the 20-23 Thur-Sun... I figure this would be a good excuse to get out (weather permitting) The festival takes place on Main Street so parking would be hard to find in mass quantity...but we could always meet somewhere and all go together or..meet at the festival..(it gets pretty busy)

If there are other ideas let me know I am ready for another meet. I have been busy with my work to really check in like I want to.

Former Tundra owner, now X-Runner owner. I'm gonna love this.

On a more serious note, we should pick a place to meet that's somewhat easy to get to, like off of the Interstate. Unless someone has any other ideas?

OK. I was going to propose 6:00 pm on the same weekend (Aug 26, 27) for the next DFW meet. Which ever day gets the most commitment is the one that we will meet.

I can attend either day.

As for the location, there is a line of chain restaurants on the north side of interstate 635 in Irving. This area is about 2 miles east-northeast of DFW airport. There is also a new Best Buy, Fry's Electronics, Wal Mart, and a large movie theater nearby. Along with this is quite a lot of parking space. I'll go there today and get a list of all of the restaurants.

Here's a centerpoint address to look it up on Google Maps, Mapquest, etc.

We need to decide location, date, and time by this Saturday, Aug 19, so that people can make plans for this.

This is just my proposal. If anyone else would like to make a suggestion, please do.
