Anybody here in TX have a bassani dual exhaust? I'd be interested in hearing them in person sometime. I'm here in San Antonio but I've been known to go on trips to houston, dallas, etc. Let me know...I might be close to getting one in the next few months but I'd really like to hear one again. Thanks...

I was in Fred Haas Toyota and they have Bassannis in the book as being distributed by Gulf Coast Toyota and being covered under teh same type of warranty as the TRD. I guess the distributers have that type of say so though I had never known that. I can ask the Finance guy for them and for Gullo in Conroe as they both live on my block and see if they have any installed now. It is worth a shot and my be covered in warranty. Not bad.

Mike,
Have you found anybody here in SA that sells Bassani's?
Snoopy mentioned GST as having them, which surprises me, since Toyota has their own brand (TRD), but then GST obviously has the freedom to sell any aftermarket product. They'd probably be pretty steep, if you got them through a local Toy dealer.
I was on another Thread last night, and noticed that a couple of other owners have had to replace driver side rubber hanger on the Borla. Mine broke last week, but Borla promptly replied to my email and called me today. They're sending a free replacement hanger today.
Yeah....it was the drivers side that was misaligned, but that was the installers fault. Tundraholic showed me how to modify the hanger to correct that.
Did I fix the nail? Hell No!!....just filled her up with 35 lbs...the "Fix Flats" were doing too much business that Sunday for me to wait. Maybe this wknd.
Yeah, GST does have them and I think all the dealers around here have them. My plan is to use that 25% off coupon from Alamo Toyota to buy it. That'll bring down the price to $624 plus tax plus freight. I haven't spent much time looking for it online but when I did look, I couldn't find bassani sold very many places.
I would really like to hear one again though...

Read it. It's 20% now until 12-31-02. I went and got plugs, antifreeze, paint, filters, etc..... at Alamo Toyota and you will get 20% off. It was 25% for only a month. Still 20% is good. Give them a call. Oh ya its a 1 time deal, they kept my discount card once I used it. Let us know when you get them.
