Need pics and reviews on MT ATZ (UPDATE Pics added)
Ok the title is kinda off. What I really need to know is if anyone has ever mounted a set of MT ATZ sized 375/55-16 on 16x10 wheels yet? I have been looking around and can't seem to find any info or pics. I have read that it has been mounted to 16x10's, but then MT's website says they've mounted them on 16x12's. Currently I have ProComp M/Ts 305/70-16 on my wheels now but I really like the aggressive thread design and I don't need a M/T anymore. If anyone of you guys have a picture with these thins mounted please post them, I need to order these soon as my tires are now slicks . Thanks
Tires came in yesterday !! These things are BEEFY !! Replaced both inner tie rods so that I can finally get a decent alignment done before I tear up these new meats. I'll probably get the alignment done this weekend and have the tires mounted and balanced sometime next week. I CAN'T WAIT !!!
i must admit, i didn't like these tires when they came out, but actually seeing them not in an ad in a magazine, they look good. and your right they are very beefy!! can you say SAS next?

Actually an SAS was in the plans (key word was), but finding a cheap (affordable) axle that I can upgrade and a person I can trust to do the swap (haven't learned to weld yet but I want to) is kinda hard here in Idaho. Also, with a little one on the way (I'M GONNA BE A DADDY ) funds are gonna be tight. Now if anyone wants to share some spare parts they have (axles, steering, basically everything I need) lying around, I'll definately take them off your hands . We'll see, I'm definately not gonna abandon the idea.
As for the tires, the pics on website and mags don't do them justice. They look way better in person than any pics. Now all I need is the alignment done and then they'll be mounted (getting the alignment done this weekend). Can't wait.

well congratulations on the little one! I see what you mean about finding a place to do your swap, it took me a while to find mine but in the end i think it was a good choice. And you should definitely learn how to weld, i bought my first welder about 4 months ago and it is a lot of fun to play around with, its just getting good which takes time.
I was able to get the tires mounted yesterday and had the alignment done this morning. One thing I can say is DAMN THIS THING IS QUIET !! I was expecting a little hum from the aggressive look (key word "Looking") tires but boy was I wrong. Inside the truck it has no road noise caused by the tires. I actually get to her the hum from my exhaust now.
Now one of the major problems so far was the balancing of the tires. I might have to get another shop to balance them but I could be wrong. It took alot of wait just balance them. One tire required an initial weight of 13.5 oz. Now I'm no tire pro but isn't that excessive? And even after adding all that it still required another 5 oz. Now all the tires were similar but not as bad. The shop was able to get 2 of them to zero out (after some weights) while the other two (the ones in the rear) were roughly off of balance by 2.5 oz. inner and outter edges.
Even though the two tires are not zeroed in balance the ride is glass like. Thers is no shudders, shimmies, or shakes, and like I said NO NOISE. Only time will tell on the wear and tear but I'm sure it'll be a while.
Oh yeah, I'll try to get some pics up of them mounted. Now my truck has a FAT A$$ >
WEll for anyone wanting to get some wide @ss 14.50" - 15.50" AT Tires mounted on 16x12 rims tell us what backspacing you went with?
And what all rubbing are you having, ANY?
I was looking earlier into wide tires but am really worried with rubbing, I already have 305/70/16 BFG's on a 16x8 wheelers offroad rims (Pro-Comp) with 4" B/S and I rub the frame.
Looks good

I have these mounted on 16x10's so I don't know how they'll help on a 12 in rim but here it goes.
The back spacing is 4.5" I believe (had these wheels on for so long), very ,very little rubbing and only on complete lock to lock. Other than that its all good.
NOTE: I do have a 1.5" adapter all around so that helped me with frame rubbing issue.
Thanks man, one of these days (hopefully before winter) I'm gonna get some action shots. I just wish there was some good mudding places around here that don't require 40" or more. Oh well, we'll see.
