Default Alternative to ARP extended wheel studs?

I plan on upgrading to longer wheel studs,so far my research found ARP part # 100-7715 being a direct fit. But at $35 for a set of five, multiplied by 5 (you'll have a spare) it's looking quite pricey

If I convert to SAE thread,7/16-20,the ARP studs in that size is less than a third the price of the metric ones ($10). I'd like to stay metric.

Has anyone found a more reasonable alternative (price-wise) to the ARPs? I found a Dorman replacment, but it's not that much longer than stock.

And the search continues...

Default Re: Alternative to ARP extended wheel studs?

I might have found something for $2.00 each. The company is Ichiba USA,they're known for their car wheel spacers (although they do offer 6-lug truck spacers too). It's a 50mm stud, emailed them to see if that's total length (threads + knurls) or just threads.

And some info on the Dormans. The front studs are 40mm and rears 45mm,both available locally for $1.99 and $1.29 (funny, the longer ones cost less). I'm not sure if that's thread length or total length though.

I should have measured the stock wheel studs when I inspected the brakes this week...doh! Rears are definitely longer than the fronts.
