I have used the LTX m/s in the past and loved them. I do not believe they make the LTX m/s in an 18 in wheel. I could not use get them for my F150 last year because it was also an 18in wheel. With more 18 in wheels coming out Michelin may start making them. I actually looked on their website and submitted an email asking why they didn't make one in this wheel size but have not received a response and doubt I will.

My old truck (99 Dodge 2500) came with the LTX A/Ts. I never liked them. They always felt a bit "soupy" on dry or wet, snow or ice didn't matter. After about 60,000 miles they were a bit worn but could have gone another 25,000 I'm sure. I switched to BFG A/T KOs, and fell in love.
That's what is going on my truck on Monday (size 265/65 18s, cost about $320 per tire installed, balanced, etc.). You can get them a lot cheaper at tire rack, but by the time I pick them up at the border, have them balanced and installed, etc., the savings pretty much evaporates.

I had Michelin LTX AT's on my old Dodge (Before buying my Tundra), I was not impressed in the snow! It was a very good tire with the exception of the lousy performance in the snow.
Stock tires don't seem to cut it in the snow. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with these new Michelin tires in snow.
they will only be 1 step above what ya got but Michellins will wear and have long wear and that is why i bought them and they will be a tad better in snow than OEM Bridgestones, not sure what size ya use or what brand your truck came with but i like the highway ride a lot and feel better if i have to go thru wet grass without getting stuck! they are on my 93 PU and balanced ok for a Flotation size tire and alignment helped a tad also!! You need a Winter Rated Tire where you live and they are hard to find at present for newer tire sizes on Tundras but will be along shortly!!
Just put a set of LTX -AT 2 on wife's Pilot, her Revos had 50-55000 miles on 'em and they were getting really noisy.Had a 2 or 3'' snow Wednesday and so far the tires are doing fine, if not we would never have gotten up our driveway! Put the same size on that the Revos were, 245-75-16, they sure 'look' like they're ready for anything with 14/32" tread depth, we'll see.
I've run LTM M/S on my last four 4WDs. They're great tires. It's sad not to see Michelin making them for 18s now. They need to offer taller tire sizes too. I'm going to look for 285/75/18s when I need new tires, so (unfortanately) bye-bye Michelin. After 20 years with them, I'll be sad to leave.

99.9% chance that your Dodge had LTX a/s, not a/t stock. ltx a/s suck.

The New for 2007 LTX AT2, is a complete redesign. New carcass, sidewall treatment and tread. They are 1 step from being Severe Snow rated, and are supposed to be very quiet, and good wet traction. They make the P and LT 275/65R18, and a LT 285/65R18. They also have a few 20" sizes. They are steep in price though.

AT Revos. I always used bfg at's, but have recently switched to the revos. great tire, handles very well in all conditions. 55K on the first set on an xterra(5K easily remaining), now on the second set with 35K. I had them on my 05 tundra, and will put them on my 07 when these stock junkers wear out. The stock tires have been acceptable so far for 13K of driving, but havent had them in the snow yet. Thats why I have 4wd. They are not that bad, but certainly not good either..............
They almost show no wear, and I havent rotated. I was expecting 25K from them, but I am going to guess I could get 50K. I'll keep my 600-700 bucks for now and keep the stock tires since they work ok if driving within reason for the conditions.
