Default Line-x and Rhino Line

Would Linex or Rhino work on OEM steel wheels as tough no nonsense way to black out your wheels? I'm a little surprised after searching that I haven't seen much discussion on the subject. Then again maybe it's idiotic. At any rate I'd like to hear from folks that know about wheels on the subject.
Thanks.

I cant see how doing that would be a good idea, the weight would be all messed up, maybe if you were doing it to a trail truck or something, but not too something that sees any road time at decent speeds. Seems like you would just be asking for trouble.
