I used an old fashion 35mm camera and a scanner, my Digital Camera fell out of the Sequoia when one of my kids was trying to take a picture of the McDonalds Playground to show his friends.. Ok everyone after a countless number of posts. I now have a pic. under my sig..!

I've narrowed my wheel choices down to the Mille Miglia Mesa (18x8.5) from TireRack and the Pacer 224C (18x8.5) from a local wheel and tire shop. Both wheels look about the same and cost the same. Is anyone running either of these wheels on their Sequoia/Tundra? Pictures would be great if you can post them!

Does anyone know the exact backspacing that is required for 8.5" wheels?

4RunnerSR5,

bnotes had the Mille Miglia Mesa's on his sequoia, but in 20s. they did look tight! hopefully bnotes has re-registered and can post some pix of his ride.

haven't seen the pacers, so can't really comment on them. i'll have to do a search to see how they look. also, not sure about the backspacing.

Question Re: Sequoia: Wheels and Tires

Yo Simias,

Did Maindog say WHY he was selling his 22's? Do you know what he's replacing them with?

he's putting his stocks back on. i believe he's buying a house or something. btw, i don't remember the price, but it was pretty cheap. i would've bought them if i wasn't sticking w/ my 20's.

4RunnerSR5/Chris,

Check out www.superbuytires.com for a look at the Pacer 224C.

Also wanted everyone's opinions on the following 22's:
Foose Spank 6
Panther Juice 6

Thanks in advance!

PS. If anyone finds out how much Maindog is selling the T1 set, please let us know!

4RunnerSR5,

Check out the Panther Elysium; they look like the Pacer 224s

oh okay! i've seen the Pacers before, but i believe they are cloned Epic Kronos.

MtnVwSeq,

the Panthers and the Foose are not really my style, but it all comes down to what you want. if i were to choose between either i'd get the Foose only because they are a reputable rim mfg and i believe Panther just clones rims.

MtnView,

FYI: the 22s that i was considering were the Lezaro SUV Omega, Maido MS5 & ACE Alloy T1s.

they are all pretty plain, but i think they look tight!! plus they would look good for years. not too flashy that they would be out of style in a couple of months.

btw, if i remember correctly, Maindog was selling his rims/tires for $4200.

Chris,

Thanks for your inputs. Your choices are tight! What do you think about the Boyd Coddington Timeless 6?

BTW, I know the difference (process wise) between polished and chrome. Which one has a higher luster/shine?

Gene,

no problem! btw, i really dig the Timeless 6. i was looking at these as well, but i didn't get them because a lot of the big three SUV/trucks had them on already. at least down here in So Cal, maybe different up by you.

chrome is definitely the way to go if you want to "BLING" definitely stands out, especially on a sunny day! also when light hits a chrome rim at night it sparkles! all of my buddies up north have chrome rims and they are always dogging me out for my polished rims. also they are easier to clean, just a little ammonia-less glass cleaner to shine them up and they look like new.
