the only bad thing about Sprewell is that they cater to a lot of big time ballers, so their prices might be a little higher. shop around and see what others can get you. most rim shops can get you the MS-5s, but it comes down to how much they want to mark it up when they sell it to you. my suggestion is to hit up a couple of the import shops around you like Robocar and others, since they sell a lot of rims from Dazz they should be able to hook you up.
btw, got your PM. i got my rims from my local Allen Tires. not as cheap as tire rack, but he's been real good to me in the past.

Robocar is on the process of relocating right now. The store was close since Nov. 1.
BTW, I took my SQ to LONGO yesterday since on occasion when I go downhill, i feel a slight pulsating motion from my brakes. I thought it's not a biggie, i was stunned to hear from them that they replaced the rotors and pads(under warranty) since the rotors were warped. I asked the service guy, why will the rotors warp after only 6500 miles? He explained to me about me living in Chino Hills, usually going down the hills a lot and braking hard during downhill. I took part of his theory since I have been using my brakes constantly to navigate the LA traffic and remembered that I break hard at least 3 times already. But if you think about it, the brakes should take more than that, not at an early 6500 miles... I just put it aside and consider it an exception...
I find comfort that they replaced the whole thing under warranty and now I got a new set of pads and rotors.

I'm thinking of mating up the 18x9 Kaotik Parole with the 285/55/18's. Either the Pirelli Scorpion Zero or the Michelin Pilot LTX. The Yokohama got hammered for road noise. I think I'll stay away from them.
Opinions???
Also, how do I find out the stock offset/backspacing vs. the rims that I want to get?
I'm running Michelin Pilot LTXs on my 18x8.5" wheels. The 285/15/R18s fit perfectly. Very very minor rub when I turn
the steering wheel hard right. No concern whatsoever. As
for the tires, I've been a loyal Michelin customer for the past
three SUVs I've owned. They seem to ride well and wear
very well. No complaints on the Pilot LTX's.
My wheels have 5.25" backspacing and 14mm offset. I can
tell you that if the backspacing is greater than 5.25" you
will have problems running this size tires. The inside of the
front tires just *barely* clear the upper portion of the front
suspension assembly.
I'm in Phoenix, AZ and alot of people are putting Falken ZIEX S/TZ04 tires on their SUV's. Several local shops are swearing by them saying that they perform well, are very quiet, wear extremely well, and have a 50K mile warranty. They have pretty cool styling too (both tread and sidewall).
Yes I have 4 - S/TZ04s. One had a hop in it and was replaced by my tire shop, (even though Falken said there was nothing wrong with it).
I have had these tires on for approx 8000 mi and spent a fortune on tire balancing at 4 different tire shops and no one can find any problems. I can't wait to get rid of them.
Somebody tell me I'm not crazy!
I just saw the PIC that Boone posted below. Has he got the only SQ with the new GM rear steering option?
BTW, those are some great looking rims, Boone!
