Default Continental CrossContact LX vs. Michelin CT or LTX

Time for some new treads for the Sequoia. Not looking for any AT off road suggestions. Pure road/highway only no snow concerns as the Nokians cover that.

Current tires are the Michelin Cross Terrains in 265-65-17 which were a big improvement over the factory Bridgestones but didn't really thrill me. I really like the LTX M/S that I had on my old Ford Exploder but would need to get either 255-70-17 or 265-70-17 to get them which is fine also.

The CrossContacts are getting some very good reviews and I already PM'd the couple users here what say they have them. $70 less per tire is an obvious advantage but don't want to be stuck with something I'm disappointed in for the next 40,000+ miles.

What other highway all seasons do others have/suggest and why?

Any opinions if the Michelin CT and Continental weer tha same price? Local Costco has as of today the Michelin for $156/tire installed. $50 price drop from yesterday!!!!! The LTX is still $200.

The Conti is $155 installed also with road force balance.

Thanks for the shopping tip. My Costco has the same Michelins at the same price, which by the way is their everyday price, plus next week's sales gimmic is a $60 in-store credit at Costco from Michelin. I must be the exception to the BS HT's because I could probably make it to 60K on my OE's. The HT's don't necessarily get a glowing report from me but I've made them last seemingly longer than most, it sounds. No decision for me Michelin.

I have Michelin LTX M/S's and they are very impressive. I like everything about them.
