Which tire do you guys think is the best wet weather tire? How about the smoothest and quietest at highway speeds? (yes I realize these are all aggresively patterned all terrain tires) We're talking AT KO vs Terra Grappler vs Open Country AT vs Zeon. Opinions please...
I had the Cooper Zeon LTZ's for a while and they road really nicely for an aggressive tire...They also were amazing in the rain. I felt very confident with them in all situations. As far as noise goes I think they are also one of the quietest off road tires you can get. I drove with them on the highway for over 500 miles straight and there was a slight hum but you could barely hear it in the cab. They also rode nice and straight without much vibration in the steering.

Toyo AT and Nitto Terra are very similar though not identical.
I swapped BFG AT for Toyo AT because Toyo made the oddball size I wanted and Nitto didn't. The BFGs were good off-road, poor on snow and ice imo. Doing my first off-road trip with the Toyos this weekend.
The Toyos are definitely better than the BFG AT on the road. Both a 10-ply tire, but the Toyo has a better ride and much crisper steering response.
If BFG made a 285/75/18 I would have tried it. Overall I thought the BFGs were good, but my initial impression (3,000 miles) is that the Toyos are better.

Front Susp: Stock coilovers, 4" lift (http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...6-4-inch-lift/), swapped extra spacers for Bilstein 5100s on lowest setting, wheel well height still 41.5." Rear Susp: ProComp ES3000 #326510 (2.25" taller than stock), 1.25" blocks plus PRG mini-pack (http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...and-new-truck/) gives 2.25" total lift, parking brake cable bracket spacers, wheel well height 43." Front diff and rear ds drop; trailer hitch electrical harness tucked up above bumper. After 20K miles swapped 305/65/18 BFG AT for 285/75/18 Toyo AT, still on stock 18x8x60 offset TRD wheels, about 1/8" clearance to sway bar. Like the extra height but miss the width. Next time either 305/70/, 295/70, or 35x12.50/18. Added 5th 285/75/18 Toyo AT as spare. Bed Bounce: Stiffer E-tires are worse than stock P-metric; biggest improvement from PRG mini-pack, slight improvement from shocks. Still a stiff ride but tolerable now. Best things about this truck: 5.7 and transmission, interior size and comfort, very quiet at high speed. Worst things about this truck: bed bounce, no VSC in 4wd, mileage sucks above 70.
I have the toyo open country a/t's in 305/55R20 and they are great so far (1500mi). They ride excellent I can't hear them at all on the highway and they have done great in the little bit of snow we've had here.
