Having been a toyota owner for over 20 years, I've had several different tire brands. I rotate my tires faithfully at every other oil change (about 7K miles) I've used Yokahama Geolander A/T plus II's and Bridgestone Dueler A/T 693's. The Duelers preformed and wore well except for "cupping". The Geolanders looked cool but didn't preform well in the snow and definately wore down fast. By about 32K it was time to start thinking about new tires. I sold the truck instead and bought the 06' Tacoma double cab (love it) and it is time for new tires. I'm on the road about 90% of the time with just a little off-road travel to access fishing spots. Rarely, if ever in the mud if I can help it. I often tow a bass boat in the spring & summer and a 2 place snowmobile trailer during the winter. I average 20K + miles a year. MY06 came stock with the BF Goodrich Rugged Trail. I've got 43K on them now and that's about it. On road they're great, it's just that I spend a lot of time driving and towing in the winter, and I haven't been too impressed with their snow traction. So I'm looking for any opinions on a particular tire that preforms well on the road and in the snow.
