This is a discussion thread titled "Costco Tire Installtion Any Good", within the Tires and Wheels forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
I am checking into tires, found the tires at Costco for a good price, has anyone bought and had them install them, were you satified with the mounting and balancing
Thanks

I think I remember reading that they do not install tires that are bigger than stock. So if you are going that route then you may need to find a different shop. Double check with costco to make sure though.
Agreed with the above the tires do need to be within 3% of stock specifications due to liability reasons hence the reason I can have mine installed there

I just had Costco install my new Michelin Cross Terrians on my Sequoia this week. As I was walking up to the store I heard this "click", "click", "click" sound. I looked into the serivce bay and much to my suprise it was the tech actually using a torque wrench to tighten the lugnuts instead of their IR Thunder Gun. Wow I thought.
I received extremely good service, a ton of tire info for the un-or under educated and fast service. And as stated above they are death on tire sizes that are not speced for your vehicle. Really pleased so far. The OE BS's made it to 56.6K and could have been milked a little further but I have a big trailering trip planned in a couple of week and no sense in chancing a tire failure there.

Should actually be checked/torqued twice by the shop lead or supervisor/manager
