This is a discussion thread titled "Michelin Cross Terrains", within the Tires and Wheels forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
Anybody running Michelin Cross Terrains on their Tundra DCs (Nobody has any LTX A/T2s in stock!)? Checked out some tire sites (Costco and Americas tire co.) and the price on them went down $45-$50 (what gives?)!!! There are good and fair reviews (mostly good) but I want to know if any fellow Tundra owners recommend them here... Thanks for any input..
Both my brother and I have them on our Tundra access cabs. Mine offer a great ride but I have not had them long enough to tell how long they will last. My brother put 65,000 miles on his set before buying a second set. My son had them on his Honda Pilot and put almost 70k on them. In short, I am very sold on them.

I have the Cross Terrains on my '04 DC, they have about 50,000 miles on them. I really like them, they have good traction in the rain and ok traction offroad, but they are primarily a road tire.
ran them at whitewater and gorman (dirt soft sand, light mud) does well in those conditions. didnt get to try them in snow/ice but i would assume their good also.
i typically run michelin a/t when i offroad, but was lazy and ran my xterrains and was impressed.
They were my 2nd place pick - I ended up getting Bridgestone Revos..
I had the XTerrains on my 03 4 Runner and the Revos on my Tundra. The XTs had great wear and were a good street tire. For the money, I think the Revos are as good a street tire and better off road while offering slightly less tread life. They would be my choice.
