This is a discussion thread titled "escalade wheels on tundra? not!!", within the Tires and Wheels forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
i sure do feel stupid .i bought a set of caddy escalade chrome wheels off ebay based on that it had the same bolt pattern and the seller said it would fit toyotas ,wrong!! these wheels have a smaller hub hole so next time instead of me jumping on a " what i thought" sweet deal ,i will do more research. hopefully i will get my money back lesson learned!!!
no i didnt but i should have . thats what i get!!! i assumed they would fit ,well you know what happens when you assume. thanks for the input too bad i didnt ask ,you would have saved me a headache . thats what this site is for to help others and sometimes i have brain farts and dont ask before i leap. hope no one else makes this error
People have mentioned having chevy wheeles bored out to fit Toyotas. I'm not sure how all tha works, but you might want to look into it if you like the rims.

im waiting on the response from the seller a refund would be the right thing to do . im not too crazy about the oe twisted star design even in chrome. as far as having the wheels bored i think that would take away from the wheels structural integrity (i think) and besides i dont like them that much that i would dish out extra cash to modify them but thanks guys i appreciate it. if theres one thing i learned from this is to " KEEP IT TOYOTA BABY '' ivans trd next, hopefully
Hey...if you cannot get your money back....got over to this site that I will give a link too. It is a Suburban version of this site. There are always guys there talking about using Escalade parts on their Subs/Yukons.....may find a buyer there.
yeah, try to get your money back! the seller was full of crap! toyota's centerbore is larger than most other vehicles that's why it's hard to find rims that fit our rides w/out boring out the centerbore. a quality rim shop can do this for you, but again you said that you didn't want to spend anymore money on the rims. well, good luck!

thanks BRIAN M & SIMIAS for the tip and encouragement i was a little bummed cause this would have completed the look for my truck . i recently got a good deal on a painted rear bumper (trd mats for bumper) and then i had it sprayed to match my truck also i added some TYC tails (which i think look awesome) . so the wheels would have been the finishing touch.
