What the "proper" tire pressure might be for a set of 31x10.50x15 Duler Revos? I've replaced the VERY sh!tty stock aluminum wheels - on my '95 Tacoma - with a set of aftermarket
Eagles. No real issues here as I've stayed with the "stock" wheel sizing. Back spacing is a bit more however, as you might expect with aftermarket wheels. Not real pleased with that, because it offsets the wheel and tire combo out from under the fenders by about an inch, but at least the "wheels" themselves are 10K BETTER than those crappy stockers!

I guess I'll have to live with the tires sticking out from under the fenders until I can find a set of fender flares. Er,ummm... anyone have a set they're not using just laying around?
My problem is, the info on the truck's serial plate - regarding tire pressure - just doesn't seem quite right. Shortly after buying the truck, I replaced the stock
Goodyears with a set of
BF Goodrich A/T's. Unfortunately they didn't seem to last all that long!

I can only "guess" it's because of "where" I bought the tires (Wally World - A.K.A. Wal Mart) and NEVER really getting a proper tire pressure "number" from the start. Not to mention how "slap-happy" the tire techs always seemed to be at this "particular" Wal Mart, but that's another story all together! In any case, I think not having that "correct" tire pressure number certainly "helped" in those tires wearing out as fast as they seemed to.
I'm just looking for some good numbers - in the hope - that I can make these Revos "last" a little longer. And most importantly - WEAR BETTER!! I'm leaning toward 35 PSI. However, when I had the tires installed, I decided to check the pressure in each tire a week later and realized that the tire shop must have set the pressure quite high - at 40 PSI! Personally I think that's too high. But I'd just kind of like to make sure I get it
right - this time - long before I end up with bad tire wear and end up with yet another set of tires with a "short" life span!
Any thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated!
