Question Will 305/70/16 fit????

Will a 305/70/16 (33-12.5-16) on a 16x8 rim w/ 3 5/8 backspacing fit w/ a 2.5" lift in the front and 1 1/4 lift in the rear?

If I need to trim, will I need to trim a bunch?

i have been told that it will by my local wheel/tire performance shop.

I just want other opinions.

Thanks for your help.

What is the section or tread width on the tire?

I ask because I have 265/75s on 16x8s with that same backspacing and I don't have a lot of room between the tire and the trim on the bottom of the bumper and my TRD mudflaps. If the wheel and tire gets too wide they may rub/hit something, especially under full compression (speed bumps, etc.).

Just something to consider.

I've dealt a lot with Discount Tire and they were always willling to do a test fit for me. It may be a good idea with the extra wide rubber you're looking at running.

I would say get a 16x10, and they should fit alright. You might have to trim the front airdam a little, but its no biggie.
