This is a discussion thread titled "Toyo Proxies ST II, anyone riding on them?", within the Tires and Wheels forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
Anyone running on the new version of the Toyo Proxies ST II? I'd like to hear what folks who are riding on them think...
They look pretty good, the tread pattern reminds me of the Hankook Ventus. I'm thinking about getting a set of these to go with my 20" wheels as my Kumhos are worn out.
I don't remember if mine were Proxes 2 or just Proxes, but they were on factory 20's 265/50 I believe and they were louder and rougher than Super Swampers I had on a straight axle Dodge 1-ton. Just switched to 265/75-16 BFG A/Ts with 5100s and a poly spacer. Rides like a Caddillac now with no tire roar.
Oooo, I like those! I run on a set of Proxes in 295/45/20's in the summer months and I like them a lot. That new tread pattern looks a lot better, especially if you get caught in an early know.
