Default bfg at, level kit, stock trd wheels, size?

So my rugged trails are completely shot, have flatted each of them atleast once in the past few months and the rear drivers side tire has gone 3x. I only want the bfg at ko's, only time i have ever liked that i have run. I need to order them tonight or tomorrow and am going to also have a level kit installed (which one? im on a budget kinda) and was ewondering what the largest size i could fit in with the stock trd 18in wheels? I was going to upgrade to 20's but the extra weight and gasmleage are not worth it for me, so eventually i will put on some aftermarket 18's. please let me know what size you run on your truck, the wheels, and how much modification had to be done to the skidplate, mudflaps, etc. thanks guys

If you have TRD you can use your rims. But a lot of shops (including Discount) won't install BFG AT's on the steel or alloy wheels because they are 7" deep. You may need new rims or go with the Wrangler tires, which are a littler thinner but more expensive.

I have the skyjacker front leveling kit with aftermarket rims but I was able to put BFG AT 305 65 18 on the stock rims without any rub in the wheel well.I only had some rub after I put on the Motto Metal rims which was easy to fix.

I am in the same boat. I ordered the top gun kit for $100 (im on a budget as well) and was wondering what was the largest bfg a/t tire I could cram under it with no rubbing. I have already modified my skid plate in preparation for the new tires. I just want to know if the 305's will work with no further modification, or if I need to step down and order the 285's.

i currently have the 285's with no leveling kit and the TRD wheels but am also getting ready to get a leveling kit. 2 points i want to make: first to answer the question of will the 305's fit on a leveled truck and the answer is yes. i however would like to throw in my two cents if ya'll don't mind; i felt like the 305's and the 285's look virtually the same but they are 34s compared to 33s. the reason i went with the 285's is because these tires are so heavy as it is that i wouldn't be able to afford gas with the 305's bc they are pretty heavy i mean the 285's are bad enough and once again they are just so similar. just out of curiosity(bc i wanted to see if it would look weird with the 285's leveled) i slid a jack under the front axel and lifted it 2 inches and it looked awesome.

if you can afford it go for the 305s, i mean bigger is usually always better. good luck in your decision, can't wait for pics
also feel free to look at my pictures, there all about my tires haha

Yeah get the 305's you will regret it otherwise. A 2"-3" kit will have it looking good with them.
