This is a discussion thread titled "Are toyo m/ts good?", within the Tires and Wheels forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
I have never heard anything bad about these tires. They are pretty expensive but you get your moneys worth. Good on and off road. Easy to balance also.
Well I am south of you so come on down and take a look. Just kiddin! I was running Big O Xt's they wore out in 30,000 miles. I am now runnin 265x75x16's Toyo mt's.
They have been great in the desert and I have marks from the rocks on the sidewalls but no damage.
Last weekend we did a run down to Williams Az and south into the red rock country and red mud. They performed well on the slick fire roads and the side knobs provided great grip to pull up and out of the ruts.
