Default Wheel & Tire Combo

Hey Fellas,

I am completely new to this whole sort of thing, so please bear with me.

I am looking to purchase eBay Motors: Wheel Pros Moto Metal 951 Chrome 18x9 Wheels (item 260288021270 end time Sep-25-08 20:13:30 PDT) for my truck. To these, I am looking to add a set of P285/60/18 Michelins. I have a 3" Leveling kit, and not really concerned about rubbing in the back. I have talked to another person on here who said they needed 1.5" spacers to run to keep them from rubbing. Any ideas on what I would need for backspacing to make these work without spacers? I am not too wild about spacers for my truck.

I have the stock 6 spoke 17" wheels on my truck now (FJ's), and know they are right around 4 7/8" on the backspacing. These wheels are 4.5".

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Default Re: Wheel & Tire Combo

you know you dont have to buy the wheel adapters. but it will rub at full lock when turning if you dont. i think the fj wheels would look great with a 285.

later....
