I have the Geolander MT's. They rock, are quiet, they bite just about anything and will also last about 30K. Very easy to keep balanced.
I would rather run DUNKIN DONUTS on my rims than any BFG .
The BFG's are hard to keep balanced, even on the Hunter 9700.
Had 3 different sets of them on my FORD and got 44K miles on every set. They were loud and hard to balance, didnt like water or snow.
1st set was ALL TERRAINS, 2nd set was Mud Terrains, and the 3rd set was the BAJA TA. Thats just my opinion. I will never have anyting other than YOKOS from now on.
I didnt know anything about yokos at the time, and everyone said how good BFG's were, so i stuck with them, thought i had a bad set, now i know they ALL suck, you get what you pay for. they were real cheap $ to compared o the YOKOS or TOYOS.
Sorry for ranting. I just cant stress how much I LOVE MY YOKOS.
I like the look of the MT, thats the only reason i chose them other wise i would have picked the AT's. you wont be dissapointed

I have the Geolander H/ST in 265/65/R17's and couldn't be happier. They are excellent in rain, and mud and not bad in the snow. Much better than Dunlop, michelin, Goodyear, for the price. Also, they are quite quiet for a M/S tire. You won't be disapointed. By the way I have approx 12,000 miles on them and they don't show much wear.

Found a good deal on these at Discount Tire Direct for $118 each (265/70/R17). They currently have free shipping also which makes it cheaper than tire rack.

Yokohama Geolander HT-S

Update: America's Tire/Discount Tire will match tire rack's prices - just bring in a print out from the website. Got the above tire for $109 each.

I have read that the Geolandar H/T-S tires have a Unidirectional tread design.
How does that effect the tire rotation? Is there any special information requested when ordering? Two lefts and two rights with white lettering in or out? Thanks.
