Default Question for oversized tire owners

So I had my 305/65/18s mounted the other day and notice their were a lot of weights on the wheels (stick on like up to 6 oz per side). I watched the guy balancing them and it seemed like everytime the tire spun it would say add wieght. I was told that on larger tires getting them within an oz was doing good. For those of you that run larger tires are yours balanced to 0?

I have BFG ATs on my wifes tahoe and it has about the same amount of weight on it, is it just the heavy tire?

There doesn't seem to be any vibrations but I haven't gotten up to highway speeds yet since the alignment is gettting done tomorrow.
