I got these quotes from www.performancewheel.com for the Tundra, and they use nothing but the best. Check them out.

1" $50 each
1.25" $55 each
1.5" $65 each
1.75" $80 each
2" $85 each
2.5" $95 each

Whats up Native,

Hows it going dude? About the spacers, I have been running them for around 3 years going on four and they are great. When it came time for alignment I just took it to the former RPM and they did it without problems. I think those guys are closed down now though. AK should not have a problem doing the alignment for you even with the spacers on.

Hows your truck? I'v noticed you raised it back up. You still thinking of going prerunner? Looking sweet though. There are a few here on islnad that are starting to sport some dubs but they are running their trucks stock everything. Gotta get them to either drop or lift their trucks . drop me a line later dude. Adios amigo.

John

Whats up Zac,

I'm not to sure if you would need the spacer. I guess it all depends on the wheels ie. backspacing, width, offset. Your best bet is to look for someone who is running the exact same wheel or specs as your wheel and see if they need a spacer or not.

I wish I could go the route that you and Native went but I think I'm just gonna fix the truck, build the sound system up and probably throw on some 16X10 on 33's or 35's. Then again I do have a 4X4 and it would kinda suck to take my truck and drop it hehehe But since theres no decent lift kits around that don't cost as much as a Civic I might as well drop it . I just can't leave my truck alone.

I think your truck will look good lifted or dropped. But if mine was a 4x4 I would lift it.

Cool Re: Wheel Spacers - Are they safe?

DJ,
Sounds to me as if the most functional fix for this rubbing problem would be to go with an aftermarket UCA. Do you concur?

Default Re: Wheel Spacers - Are they safe?

Could you clarify which rubbing issue?

Rubbing on an upper control arm can be fixed this way. Keep in mind the upper control arms on the market are for lifted vehicles, and because the position of the joint is changed, camber and caster will change through a different arc than the manufacturer intended. I have not noticed any undue wear in roughly 50K miles, nor have I had any problems with handling with the upper arm replacements. I do use the alignment specifications DJ recommends.

Rubbing on the wheel well or frame will not be changed by an upper control arm.
