Question tire pressure monitor

Have any of you tried one of the
after market tire pressure monitoring
systems?

I had a tire going flat on one of the
rear wheels awhile back and I couldn't
feel it. Somebody pulled along side me
and pointed at the rear end... I pulled
off the highway and found an almost
flat tire. It would have been ugly
if it had gone all the way flat.

The smart tire system is decent. It is kind of pricy. They run about $200 + another $50-$100 to install. They can be a hassle. Especially if you have a problem with one of the sensors. You have to take it into a tire shop to have it fixed. I guess it depends on how much you want to spend on piece of mind.
