Just hoping to get some opinions on both of these tires.
I currently have Dueler Revos on my truck that have worn down rather quickly. They started off with 11/32 tread and are down to 6/32 after 36,000 km (22,000 miles). They've been good tires, but damn they wear out fast. I noticed the traction has tanked on them so it's time to replace soon.
So, I'm looking at the Michelin AT2 or the new MS2. I'm thinking of going with the 275/70R18 E range perhaps. The Tundra is a heavy truck, so my thinking is it should have heavy tires on it. The one thing I like about the MS2 is all the sipes. It's covered in sipes, even more than the AT2 it seems. But the AT2 has a deeper tread to begin with so it may last longer. I drive mostly on paved roads and do very little off roading. But, I do have to deal with winter. Decisions decisions.
I've had my 275 65 18 p rated AT/2 on for 6,000 miles now.
I liked the 275/70 BUT i THINK IT ONLY CAME IN E RATED, not for me don't like stiff ride at all.
Quite tires on road which is what I drive 99.5% OF TIME, amazing in rain too. As aggressive as they look you would think they would be louder, but they are not. These go through water puddles without shimmy and no tracking like the crap BSTONES. Crewmax did not look good with those. Lost about .6 mpg BUT had 255/70 18 before.
I wanted the M/S, but these MS/2 weren't out yet IN THE 18 SIZE. if I new it, I would have waited to see them.
Definitely high wear rating on MS/2 as well.
I see hot summer and rain for sure, but how the MS/2 fairs in snow only you know probably.
I would think the AT/2 does better in snow though, bur reduced wear for sure then MS/2.
Price is the same for both, go to onlinetires.com and see who will match. Got mine at even better deal with 70 dollar coupon and 18 dollar credit PER tire for 22,000 mile Bridgestones that after a little shimmy in wet weather were done with me!
Hope you are familiar with stiffer E rated tire rougher ride?
I had M/S on previous truck that were great as well.
Either one will be fine for sure.
On a side note, the AT/2 looks like a HYBRID tire with some road manners for sure, but can handle the rough stuff.

Hey Evol, I got the P275/65R18 size. I went with the P rated because I really don't need E. I don't have anything to tow and I want a bit of a cushion to my ride I guess.
My Revos are almost done after less than 2 years. Good tires but they don't last long!
Yep, the tires are very nice. I didn't realize how bad the Revos were in comparison.
I still have an annoying buzzing type vibration in the steering wheel that is most noticeable when I let the truck coast. I think it's just the tire treads making sound which then turns into a vibration and travels up the steering column. The steering shaft seems to be like a tuning fork in that it vibrates at a high frequency quite readily.
Just put on a set of A/T2s, LT275/70/18, they seem great the tread is very deep, 17/32". I used Dyna beads for balancing them instead of regular wheel weights.
My LTXAT2's really did a good job during recent Elk hunt in Colorado and went thru a group of snow before i had to install chains but was amazed in how well they did before the chains went on! I have them on both my Toy trucks and the ones i were speakig about were on my 93 PU. It has 31x10.5x15's OEM for the 93 and they took on 2 foot of snow before chains were needed and this was on one lane Colorado mountain roads at 12K foot and i am pleased! With the chains on the front axle only i was unable to get it stuck but was not trying really hard due to remote Colorado location!
