Default MT or AT tire for gravel/dirt roads??

I was wonding if anyone had any instight to which would be better for gravel/dirt roads. A mud terraing tire(Toyo OC MTs, Goodyear Wrang MT Kevlar) or all terrian tires (Nitto tera grap, BFG AT ko, Toyo ATs)

I don't see myself mud bogging much but I do travel a fair amount of gravel and dirt roads.

Thanx

Gas Can

In that case I would probably go for a good set of A/T's, they should do pretty well in the gravel but won't deteriorate your ride, handling, or fuel economy as much on the pavement as a set of M/T's.

BFG AT KO would be my first choice. Great all around traction and quiet on hard surface. Mud terrains to aggressive and tend to dig in.

I know the big lugs on the MT tires will pick up rocks in the grooves and you will be a mile down the road and still dislodging rocks out the rear. Have sign on back, not responsible for broken windshields... Ha, not that bad, but they do hold the rocks in the grooves better which you will hear for a ways once you start picking up speed and they start shooting out of there...

if the rocks are big and /or sharp, then load e tires should keep you from having to change tires as often.
