Default 20" bfg t/a ko?

I have searched high and low and can't seem to find this exact question answered. If the answer is out there I apologize.

I have a 2008 Tundra DCab Limited 5.7 4x4.

I want to put T/A KOs on my stock 20" rims.
My stock tire is P275/55R20.
Closest size I can get is in the T/A KO is 285/55R20.

Will the extra width work on the rim?
Will the size of the tire cause any rubbing?

Looks to me like the size difference is nominal but I know nothing about tires.

Thanks in advance.

-Andrew

Those tires should fit on those rims w.o a problem, heres a tundra with a 3/1 lift and the 20" limited rims. I hope this guy doesnt mind me using pictures of his truck, the owner is "Zhirik"
(Junior Member) the truck does look good with the blue paint and white lettering on the tires. two thumbs up

***another guy u might wanna ask or pm is "paulphilly" (Junior Member) he said he has 285/55/20's and no lift on his limited crew max....

Hope this helps and best of luck!

Well I have the BF Goodrich T/A KO 285/55R20 on the stock limited rim\wheel and all seems fine. I did some checks for rubbing yesterday and looked good. Im not an expert however and don't know if I did it right.

They look good.

Thanks.

I've been looking for a good load range E tire that fits on the 20's...the 285/55r20 might work...
