Default 315's or 305's--with body lift??

Need bigger tires, i am running 285's right now, my setup in front is 2.5 daystar spacers and a 3' body lift and aal in the back,, what tire size would look good and beefy without major rubbing???

Another thing--will i be able to keep my eagle wheels or will i need to get wheel spacers?? anybody have any wheel spacers for sale or know of a good place to get them??

Thanks Nick

you need a total of 3-5/8" backspace to run a 35" tire with that setup.

35" tire is the 315.

Go with the 315's, 305's are the same height as your 285's just an inch wider. You'll be happier with the 315's

IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS TRUCK OFF-ROAD go with 35's (315/75R16). If you're going to go off-road, get coil-overs, then get 35s.

And like Sean said, you (no options here) have to get a wheel with 3 5/8ths backspacing.

not to jack this thread or anything, but what are the possibilities of running 35s without a body lift? Same with 33s?

dyam, if i knew that answer i'd be out tire shopping. see, i think it's possible with some trimming around the rear corner of the front wheel well (read my little rant on the offroad faq about "why lift"), and i have this suspicion that fibreglass fenders might offer a hair more clearance but haven't seen a pair in person on a truck before & after to check the measurements. with a little trimming of the plastic fender flare, i could easily fit a 34"x11" tire on my 2.5" coilover lift, or a 33"x12.5" tire. i'm also thinking uniballs and 3" of coilover lift plus some trimming and/or fibreglass might allow a narrow 35, but i need some feedback from the guys who run fibreglass, or some photos specifically of that corner of the wheel well.

without the trim, you need a body lift on top of 2.5" coilovers to run 35" tires.

check out the offroad faq for more details.

Thats what I was thinking sean. Tires mainly rub in one spot in our trucks. Basically Im gonna run a 3" coilover with the uniballs(INSTALLED TOMARROW!). Thats why I started that poll.

I'm really confused. In another thread you're talking about buying a new truck, and now you're getting something installed tomorrow?!?!
