Does anybody have those rims, if so, do you like them, are they worth the purchase?
Thanks
Ron

I think they are the best looking Toyota rims you can get. You will see very few trucks with them. They are very strong and balance very well. The plastic center caps are about $12 to replace (Wal-mart broke one). They are a perfect match with Silver Sky. The only other color I have seen them with was green and they still looked sharp. If you want to stand out but, also stick with OEM look...these are the rims to get IMO.
These were a special rim installed as a port option by Gulf States Toyota. Most of these never made it out of Texas, from what I understand.
My second choice would be the split spoke wheels.

Sweet, they go with the "theme" I am going with too. If I don't catch it on the auction, I will probebly buy them through the same co. for reg price $125 a rim

Those are the rims the Southeast toyota distributor puts on their trucks. They tend to have slightly different stuff than the other vehicles that come front different distrubutors in different areas. The Southeast Toyota distributor is privately owned so I think they tend to do different stuff from time to time.
Ron now that you got those new rims. What are you going to do with your old ones?
Want them? PM me

So I got the rims, one prob, no lug nuts. can anyone tell me the kind of lug nuts I need? The rims are already on using the acorn style lug nuts, but tire tech said I should get new lugnuts asap. Isn't there supposed to be a thick rubber washer in there too?
help!!!

yea i always see them here in Houston. I usually see them on the lower-priced SR5 models (ones with no wheel flares and cloth seats, v6's sometimes) , i never have seen them on a limited. I think they were a cheaper alternative to the more common "swirl" looking rims. I personally like the latter better.
