I will be in the market soon for some new rims for my Tundra (Hopefully). I really like the old IS rims a lot but am not sure if they are still made. Does anyone still make rims like those or is it pot luck to find some that are still in stock?? I remember seeing them on various websites at one time listed by the actually company that made them for Toyota.
Also, I saw a set on a ford today that were chromed....they looked awesome!!!!! I would love a chrome set!!!!
First, try Steveg at Carson Toyota if they still have them in stock. If they don't have any, search the internet for "Niche Throttle" rims. They are the makers of the Ivan Stewart rim. Hope that helps.

What is the back spacing on your IS wheels? Do you have rubbing probs with those 285's? Do you have any rear lift? Your truck looks awesome.
Found Cragar Boost that are in chrome, which is probably what I saw on the ford. I would guess that the Chrome version would be way easier to take care of and I have seen them priced from 900-1200 a set. This style wheels are the best available for our tundras in my opinion. Who made the IS wheels? Was it niche or who?
All you IS wheel guys. Please tell me the back spacing on the 16x8 IS(throttle)wheel. I cant find it anywhere since Niche doesnt offer them any longer.
I have a set of Niche Throttles (17") on my Tundra. They look great (if you like chrome). The problem is that they are starting to peel and corrode. I realize that chrome is not as durable as powercoat etc. but, in my opinion, for the money, they should hold up better.
Last Friday I ordered a set of Enkei RT6 wheels (17"). Hopfully they will hold up better than the Niche wheels and I prefer the the "aluminum" look over the chrome. I also ordered a set of Bridgestone A/T Revos. We'll see if they live up to the buzz!
