Default Got some new Meats.

Got a heck of a deal on a set of Mickey Thompson Dick Cepek Radial FC-II's that I couldn't pass up. About 125 a tire, plus an 80 dollar rebate when you buy four, from M/T. They are 285's and they hum a bit, but wet/ dry/ and snow traction thus far (about 150 miles) has been superb. Oh, and these things LOVE MUD!

I need wheels with different offset, they rub the frame and the control arm ever so slightly at full lock, but I can deal with that temporarily.

Check out my pics, for a peek at them.

BTW, i know, my truck is REALLY dirty. and so are the tires and wheels. i'm in the rust belt, so everything is hard to keep clean this time of year.

Default I looked at those tires last night

Keep us informed about how they perform. I have been looking at Trxus MT and the FC II. Not sure which I like best. If you had the FC II in 265/75/16, do you think they would rub at all?

Thanks

actually, you just need an 8" wide rim. the 265/75/16 wouldnt rub on the stock rim...but if youre happy, who cares! looks real nice .

Yes, I think they look great. I think the FC II is what I'm looking for in a tire. Pretty agressive A/T; really what I need. I'd like to think that I would use an M/T enough to justify the compromised pavement performance, but I can't.

Hope those turn out great for you. You'll have maybe a thousand or so miles on 'em before I buy, so I'll check back with ya if that's cool.
