Hi....I had one of the first 2000 Tundra 4x4's to come out and now have a 2002. It came with 26 front and 35 rear and I kept it that way. What it says on the tire is the maximum that the tire manufacturer reccomends. TOyota has figured out that for this vehicle with that engine 26 works.

I see no reason to argue with them. Gives a nice ride and as far as my dealer and I can tell, there is no difference in the tire wera from front to back.

Default 285/75/16's

Anyone running Yokohama Geolanders II's 285/75/16's or a comparable size tire? If so, what PSI do you have your front and rear adjusted to? Max PSI on my tires is 65 PSI and the tire shop set them at 38. Seems a bit low, but there is no sidewall sag and they run smooth as silk. Thanks!
