Default How many miles on your original Dunlop tires?

I was inspecting my original Dunlop tires today. For having 34000 miles on them, they still look pretty good. I think they will make it past 40,000. Anyone else have high miles on this tire?

That's not bad for Dunlops. I assume that you have the Grandtreks? I barely got 20k out of mine. I and others have posted on the Dunlops before. Keep on doing whatever you are with them.

I'm at 24K miles right now and they look about half worn. I could probably eek out another 10K-15K if I continue to drive like I do.

Mine were looking bald on the edges at 16,000. It wasn't aligned from the factory. I had it aligned but then I went and lifted it a lot. Now I have 33,000 and they are horrible looking. Totally bald on the outer edges and hardly anything on the rest. I am trying to decide what I need to do to lift it enough for 315's so hopefully they'll last a few more weeks.40K is awesome on these lame tires. Whatever you did, keep it up.

I had to replace mine at 28k, 2 of them had loose belts and warranty wouldnt replace them. Thank goodness, that gave me a chance to put on the Michelins.

21k so far and there is not much tread left on them. Iam starting to look for
rims and tires, but am a little confused on what tire size I should go with.

I have the 17" Grandtreks. So far looking not too bad. I have 12k. Probably will switch at 25k.

Had 20k on the Bridgestones on the '01 and they had tread but not alot.

I've got 42K on mine and the edges are starting to look a bit worn down. I'll probably run them another 5K or so. Here's a picture of the tread taken at 27K:

I got 21,000 out of my dunlops. I got the bridgstone duelers HL on now. Awesome tire and great wet traction. Many times better than the grandtreks.

I am going to go with Michelins too, sometime in the spring. Which tire did you get? How is the noise level? Since I use my truck for commuting about 70 miles a day, I want as quiet a tire as possible that will go about 60k + miles.

Thanks
